This has been a really slow news week. It’s not that I was slacking yesterday. I just didn’t have anything to report. This happens every June after festival season\/Grizzlies season ends. It’s slow news time until late August.<\/p>\n

In fact, I was going to type a “I got nothing” post for today, up until a few minutes ago when one news item came in. Delta is going to de-hub Memphis<\/a> effective September 3. They will reduce to 60 flights per day, and 230 jobs will be cut. This is bad news, but it’s also an opportunity for a much better airline – Southwest – to step up.<\/p>\n
