I hope Panda checked her ID.<\/p>\n OK on to the Stumblin’ Elvis pub crawl. First stop was the Saucer.<\/p>\n OK I’m going to have something to say about this next picture. There is a lesson to be learned from it.<\/p>\n OK people. On the left in the photo above. THIS IS HOW IT’S DONE. You may look at her outfit and think, “What does this have to do with Elvis?” The thing is, it doesn’t matter, because, TUBE TOP. This is an outfit that is universally appropriate. She could wear this to Stumbling Santa four months from now and it would work just as well.<\/p>\n At the third stop, Cafe Keough.<\/p>\n We made a quick walk through the Peabody. As we got back on Second one of the other Elvises said, “I really don’t feel like taking 20 minutes to walk a block down Beale because everyone is stopping us to take pictures. You want to skip Alfred’s and just go back to the Saucer?” That sounded like a plan to me, so we crossed the street and finished the evening there.<\/p>\n If you missed the chance to get your Elvis on at the Saucer yesterday, you should come Wednesday. It will be Elvis glass night. The glasses will go on sale at 7 PM.<\/p>\n All right, let’s do a Sunday news update before I hit Publish…<\/p>\n There will be a Parade of Kings down Beale Street this afternoon at 4. Elvis tribute artists from all over the world will march down Beale Street at 4 in honor of the King.<\/p>\n The finals of the “Last Chance” Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest are tonight at 9 at the Hard Rock. $10 cover.<\/p>\n All right. That’ll do it. I’m headed to Bloom’s bar at Bardog for Sunday brunch. Most likely I will play poker tonight at Blind Bear’s 6:30 game.
