If you use Riverside to get to I-55 South, the best alternate is to take Second south to G.E. Patterson, take a left then take a right on Third, take Third to Crump, right on Crump and head west until you see the sign. Just don&#8217;t get on I-55 North by mistake and end up in Arkansas. Done that myself a time or two. The good news is, when Riverside re-opens at the end of next month, all four lanes will be open again. Bye bike lanes!<\/p>\n<p>Holly has an excellent list of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilovememphisblog.com\/2015\/04\/abcs-of-memphis-in-may-2015-edition\/\">ABCs of Memphis in May<\/a>. Those of you who are not on BBQ Fest teams but who get invited to visit team booths, take note of suggestion &#8220;T&#8221; in particular. Doors open at 6, $10 cover, ladies free before 7. Admission includes a buffet of cheese dip and chips, pizza rolls, and mini corn dogs. If you&#8217;re in VIP you have a second buffet of cheese dip and a nacho bar, crudite, pizza rolls, and sliders.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.commercialappeal.com\/news\/local-news\/city-hall\/state_rideshare_87890825\">The state approved rules for rideshare companies<\/a> like Uber and Lyft today, pre-empting a local ordinance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/3831105\/new-orleans-smoking-ban-takes-effect\/\">A new ordinance banning smoking<\/a> in New Orleans bars, restaurants, and casinos has taken effect. Sure wish Memphis would pass something similar.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the full results of <a href=\"http:\/\/official.nba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/04\/NBA-Defensive-Player-of-the-Year-Results-2014-15.pdf\">voting for NBA Defensive Player of the Year<\/a>. Kawhi Leonard won.
