Tourists I met at the Blind Bear who were staying at the campground told me they loved it.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Wiz<\/i>, a G-rated film loosely based on The Wizard of Oz, will be shown on the big screen tonight at Beale Street Landing. Free, all ages are invited, 8:30 showtime.<\/p>\n<p>The Church Health Center is offering its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1518673604862711\/?ti=icl\">mental health first aid training<\/a> once again. You are more likely to encounter someone having an emotional or mental crisis than you are to encounter someone having a heart attack. On Thursday, August 17 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Church Health office at Crosstown Concourse, you will learn 5 steps to offer initial help to someone having a mental crisis. You will also be given resources to connect them with professional, peer, social or self-help care. The class is free but donations to the Church Health Center are appreciated. August 9 is the deadline to register.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedexforum.com\/news\/foo-fighters-bring-concrete-and-gold-tour-fedexforum-tuesday-oct-24-2017\">The Foo Fighters are coming to FedExForum<\/a> Tuesday, October 24 as part of their &#8220;Concrete and Gold&#8221; tour.<\/p>\n<p>Bardog Tavern is looking to hire a delivery driver who can get food to Downtown businesses and residents in a timely manner. You must have your own reliable transportation, up-to-date insurance, and experience in the restaurant industry is preferred. The hours are very flexible, with 4-6 hour days, and there may be the opportunity to advance in the company. They&#8217;re looking for someone who has a mix of days, nights, and weekends available.
