The National Civil Rights Museum will have extended hours March 30-April 6 and will have several special events. <a href=\"http:\/\/mlk50.civilrightsmuseum.org\/\">Read about the plans here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clayborn Temple, the site where the &#8220;I AM A MAN&#8221; signs were distributed in the 1968 sanitation workers&#8217; strike that brought Dr. King to Memphis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.claybornreborn.org\/events\/\">will have a program of MLK50 events as well.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iammemphis.org\/\">the City of Memphis MLK50 website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/477664785983237\/?ti=icl\">South Main Trolley Night celebrates Easter<\/a> this Friday, with most of the shops in the area staying open until 9 or later. There will be Songwriter Night at South Main Sounds (starts 7 PM), the Earnestine &amp; Hazel&#8217;s House Band will perform (starts 7 PM), and Merit Koch and Todd Nations play The Vault on G.E. Patterson (8:30 PM). There will be aerialists and fire dancers, and weather permitting there will be additional live music along the street. South Main Association will have a private area with complimentary food and beverages next to Bluff City Coffee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/2260939520586628\/?ti=icl\">Drink &amp; Draw<\/a> returns to Ghost River Friday, April 13 from 7 to 9. This is part game show, part art class, and all fun. Artists and non-artists alike are welcome, and there will be prizes for Best Drawing, Worst Drawing, and more. $5 includes all the supplies you will need.<\/p>\n<p>Modest Mouse has announced a show at the Orpheum for Saturday, July 14. Tickets will go on sale this Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to my friend and longtime reader Ptolemy Kat, who was crowned Queen of the Ptolemy Carnival krewe this past weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Carol Coletta has been named the new president and CEO of Riverfront Development Corporation, replacing Benny Lendermon. Excellent choice.<\/p>\n<p>CBS has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/stormy-daniels-describes-her-alleged-affair-with-donald-trump-60-minutes-interview\/\">Stormy Daniels&#8217; interview<\/a> that aired on 60 Minutes last night.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it for now, time to go grab lunch.
