This isn’t going to be a very long post. I’ve got allergies out the wazoo and can barely concentrate. Runny nose, sore throat… I’d think I have a cold but the fever is not there, nor is that feeling you get in the back of your throat when sick.<\/p>\n
I’ve received word that Mint Juleps and Purple Drank will be on tap on Max’s Sports Bar’s new slushie machine. Because it would just be wrong to watch the Kentucky Derby without Purple Drank in your hand.<\/p>\n
Elmwood Cemetery has added a new tour called The Last Word. Assistant Director Bob Barnett will tell the stories about some of the epitaphs on the monuments at the cemetery. This all-walking tour is 90 minutes long and commences at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 19. Cost is $20 per person.
