That is GENIUS, right there.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Oklahoma&#8217;s Sooner Schooner tipped over yesterday:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iQQhCXXApAc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/403965583864192\/\">Delectable Festival<\/a> is coming to Beale Street Landing Sunday, December 1. Attendees will get carefully curated desserts and cocktails from some of Memphis&#8217; best chefs, bakeries, and restaurants. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Caritas Village.<\/p>\n<p>Wok&#8217;n in Memphis, the Asian-American restaurant in the Puck Food Hall at 409 S. Main, is hiring a sous chef. Here&#8217;s a copy of the job description.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>-Must be able to lift 50+ pounds<br \/>\n&#8211; Must be able to exercise good judgment and decision-making abilities<br \/>\n-Must have good customer service<br \/>\n-Able to use the Square App<br \/>\n-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\n-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards<br \/>\n-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers<br \/>\n-Must be able to go up and down multiple flights of stairs<br \/>\n-Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day<br \/>\n-High level of professionalism<br \/>\n-Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment<br \/>\n-Must be punctual<br \/>\n-Excellent verbal communication and organization skills<br \/>\n-Nights and weekend shifts required<br \/>\n-Task driven individual<br \/>\n-Dumpling folding\/making experience is a plus, but not necessary<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Open to training the right candidate. Your attitude means more than your experience. Submit resume detailing your experience.<\/p>\n<p>Two days off. 40 hours a week must have Lead Line Cook or Sous chef experience<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wiseacre brewery and El Mero Taco will host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/395225767813011\/\">Dia de los Muertos<\/a> on November 1. Dressing up is encouraged and there will be face painting. Beer and taco specials. Funds raised at this event will benefit Alive Rescue Memphis.<\/p>\n<p>I hear the Sprock &amp; Roll\/River City Pedalers party pedal bikes got banned from multiple bars this week after one of the people on a party bike jumped off the bike and onto a moving U-Haul. A seat on one of those things does not come with a license to be an asshole. I wish all the bars Downtown would ban those things.<\/p>\n<p>Former Redbirds player and manager Stubby Clapp <a href=\"https:\/\/dailymemphian.com\/section\/sports\/article\/8276\/former-memphis-redbirds-skipper-stubby-clapp-\">will interview for the manager gig<\/a> at the Pittsburgh Pirates.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday is the final Memphis Farmers Market day of the season. A few of my faves will be absent from Bardog Saturday, so I am considering making a Farmers Market trip that day. I haven&#8217;t been since August. People have told me I am missed down there, which makes me feel good.<\/p>\n<p>Yikes &#8211; out of time! Got to get dressed and head to Silly Goose for D-RANKS and pizza with B-RAD.
