I hear the crawfish are monsters this year&#8230; like murder hornets with claws!<\/p>\n<p>Over on Beale Street, Tin Roof re-opens its dining room today. They will open 4 PM weekdays and 11 AM weekends. Wells (1862-1931) has been awarded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/news\/breaking\/ct-ida-wells-pulitzer-citation-20200505-rlt4ujeeenf7vi5z6qt7e4pmha-story.html\">a posthumous Pulitzer prize<\/a> for her lifetime of journalism. Wells lived in Memphis and was a writer and school teacher here. She spoke out against lynching in the city in the 1890s.
