An exterior improvement grant has been issued for a concept called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/memphis\/news\/2021\/04\/14\/big-river-market-coming-downtown.html\">Big River Market<\/a>, at 516 Tennessee Street in the Emerge Building. The market will offer &#8220;food, groceries, drinks, and coffee.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphistravel.com\/events\/all-events\/africa-my-mind-duo-exhibition\">Africa on My Mind<\/a>, an exhibit by Ethiopian artist Dereje Demisse and\u00a0 Nigerian artist Johnson Uwadinma, will be on display at 410 S. Main this Saturday through July 31. The art will represent a conversation between West Africa (Nigeria) and East Africa (Ethiopia).<\/p>\n<p>WREG has coverage of yesterday&#8217;s unveiling of <a href=\"https:\/\/wreg.com\/news\/latest-plans-for-tom-lee-park-makeover-unveiled\/\">updated plans for Tom Lee Park<\/a>. A log scramble among the woods at the south end has been added to the plans, as has a 220-foot outlook.
