(Edit: I’ve decided to make it “$2 or less” – $2.00 maximum – instead of “under $2” – $1.99 maximum – to get more bars, restaurants and clubs on the list.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

While at Calhoun’s last night, I got an idea for a new project: A list of bars that carry one or more beers for $2 or less, every day. Meaning, not a happy hour special, or a particular day of the week special, or only for certain bar patrons (like ladies’ night). No more than (edit: $2.00)<\/strong>, every day, available to every person in the bar of legal drinking age all hours that the bar is open.<\/p>\n

Calhoun’s $1.50 PBR inspired this idea. What are others? I’m interested in not only Downtown Memphis bars, and even not only Memphis bars. Memphians will travel for cheap beer.<\/p>\n
