I had an interview with Channel 3 at 7 PM about the benefits of the Downtown safety patrol. \u00a0At 6:45 I got a call from Mike King, the co-moderator of the Handling-Panhandling<\/a> group. \u00a0He told me St. Jude Bum, the guy who panhandles and tells people that the money they give him is a St. Jude donation, was at the Elvis statue. \u00a0Did I mention that St. Jude bum had an oustanding warrant? \u00a0Interestingly enough, my 7 PM interview was to take place at the Elvis statue.<\/p>\n Mike called the Downtown safety patrol. \u00a0They called the cops. \u00a0The cops showed up at precisely 7:01 PM. \u00a0I pointed him out and the cameras got a shot of St. Jude Bum being cuffed and put in a car.<\/p>\n I don’t remember what I said but it could not have possibly compared to that image. \u00a0Kudos to Mike on a job well done.<\/p>\n More to come tomorrow or this weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This is going to be the condensed version because it’s 1 AM.
