As I thought might happen, I don’t have any Downtown news to report today. But I will share a quick story.<\/p>\n
Last night I let myself in the front door of my apartment building, as I have just about every day for the last 20 years.<\/p>\n
But last night was different. I didn’t hold a key fob up to a reader to unlock the front door.<\/p>\n
I didn’t punch a passcode into the call box.<\/p>\n
I didn’t call a neighbor on the call box and ask to be buzzed in.<\/p>\n
I opened an app on my Apple Watch and swiped myself in.<\/p>\n
How cool is that?<\/p>\n
I want to travel back in time and tell 1985 me that I will one day be able to do that.<\/p>\n
