When it gets crowded and noisy in Downtown bars, my introverted nature comes out. I tend to go deep inside my own mind. That happened yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n
I was thinking about the place where I worked in North Mississippi for nearly 9 years. There was a large pond outside that ducks and geese and the occasional crane would visit. It was connected to the Horn Lake creek system by a drainage canal.<\/p>\n
I thought, what if fish name those drainage canals the way we name streets? How do we know the drainage canal running by my former office building isn’t Fish Poplar?<\/p>\n
