Yesterday one of my Facebook friends asked, “What song reminds you of your high school days?” A 1987 grad, I responded with Cameo’s “Word Up” and Run-DMC’s “Walk This Way.” Something from the Beastie Boys’ License to Ill<\/em> could have made my list too, but really, it’s the whole album that deserves to be mentioned.<\/p>\n

But one more song deserves to be mentioned too. Our Hall High cheerleaders danced to it during timeouts at the 1986-87 basketball games.<\/p>\n
