I have some sad news to report. The pigeon that worked the sidewalk in front of Empire Coffee, walking around and pecking for crumbs during the daylight hours, was found dead this morning. He will be missed. Anyone wishing to contribute to the Paul Ryburn Drinking Fund in the pigeon’s memory is encouraged to do so.<\/p>\n

The Dempseys<\/a> just re-did their website. Looks good! They’ll be playing downtown Huey’s tonight at 8:30.<\/p>\n

Thanks everyone for a great time at my plate party last night. Sorry I pulled a disappearing act later on in the evening, but there was a good reason.
