Yahoo! Sports recently published a story about the rise and fall of Mikey Williams<\/a>, the highly acclaimed prospect who was set to join the University of Memphis basketball team this fall. Until he gets gun charges near his San Diego home cleared up, Williams is taking online classes with the U of M but is not allowed to do anything with the team.<\/p>\n

So, I read the article profiling Williams, and man… issues and red flags galore. Having to keep this guy at arm’s length may well be the best thing to happen to Tigers basketball this year.<\/p>\n
