On January 25, the Community Alliance for the Homeless will host what’s known as a Point-in-Time Count. This event counts those currently experiencing homelessness in a community so that resources from the federal government may be fairly allocated.<\/p>\n
The Community Alliance utilizes these counting events to distribute aid and care packages. This year’s Point-in=Time Count will be at the Memphis Sports & Events Center on Early Maxwell Blvd. in Liberty Park. The homeless will receive exposure to an entire day’s worth of resources, including<\/p>\n
