Sitting at the bar at the Blind Bear waiting for the Grizzlies to come on. So I figure I&#8217;ll lead off with a couple of pieces of Bear news.<\/p>\n<p>This week I got some insight into how Tony makes his famous greens at the Bear. That&#8217;s where they get their meaty, smoky flavor. They&#8217;ll open at 10 that morning and the game will start at noon. Drink specials, food specials, local swag.<\/p>\n<p>I hear from a Vols fan that there will be watch parties for the Tennessee Vols every week (except the bye week) in fall 2024 at the Bear.<\/p>\n<p>The Downtown Memphis Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/downtown-memphis-commission-expected-announce-155128971.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will announce Paul Young&#8217;s replacement after Christmas<\/a>.
