That concerned me because a number of my service industry friends live in that building. However, one of them posted to Facebook that everyone is safe and the fire was put out relatively quickly.<\/p>\n<p>The Grizzlies are back home tonight, hosting the Detroit Pistons at 7. It will be Super Hero Night with Hero Slides for the first 5000 fans. TV: Bally Sports<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/427580223022820\/?acontext=%7B%22event_action_history%22%3A[]%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Songbird Jones with special guest Sara Jean Kelley<\/a> will play South Main Sounds tonight from 7 to 9.<\/p>\n<p>The Downtown Neighborhood Association has proposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.localmemphis.com\/article\/traffic\/downtown-neighborhood-association-proposes-riverside-drive-changes-to-ease-traffic-double-parking-spaces\/522-875b8fb7-57f1-46ae-92d0-8c22d426fee8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a traffic plan<\/a> for Riverside Drive that will double the number of parking spaces adjacent to Tom Lee Park.<\/p>\n<p>The DM has <a href=\"https:\/\/dailymemphian.com\/section\/foodfood-news\/article\/42916\/front-street-deli-reopens-downtown-memphis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a look<\/a> at the newly reopened Front Street Deli. Its hours are 6:45 AM to 2:30 PM, seven days a week.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will be a big day for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphisfarmersmarket.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memphis Farmers Market<\/a> kicks off for the season. It will happen every Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM under the pavilion at Front and G.E. Patterson, behind Malco Powerhouse. Offering far more than just produce, this is one of the best farmers\u2019 markets in the U.S. Local chefs are known to stop by and do some shopping.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/memphistattoofestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memphis Tattoo Festival<\/a> will be going on all weekend at the Renasant Convention Center.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grindcityfest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grind City Music Festival<\/a> will be happening on the grounds of Grind City Brewing Co. at Second and Waterworks.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis901fc.com\/news\/2024\/04\/04\/match-preview-memphis-hosts-top-side-orange-county-sc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memphis 901 FC will host Orange County FC<\/a> for a 3 PM match at AutoZone Park.<\/li>\n<li>There will be 2:00 and 7:30 performances of <a href=\"https:\/\/orpheum-memphis.com\/event\/wicked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WICKED<\/a> at the Orpheum.<\/li>\n<li>It will be Marc Gasol\u2019s number 33 <a href=\"https:\/\/dailymemphian.com\/section\/foodfood-news\/article\/42916\/front-street-deli-reopens-downtown-memphis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jersey retirement<\/a> at FedExForum, where the Grizzlies will host the Philadelphia 76ers. TV: Bally Sports<\/li>\n<li>On pay-per-view, it\u2019ll be the first of two nights of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwe.com\/shows\/wrestlemania\/40\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wrestlemania 40<\/a>, headlined by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his cousin The Rock vs. \u201cThe American Nightmare\u201d Cody Rhodes and WWE World Champion Seth Rollins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s it for now.
