Plus a salsa dance lesson if you want one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/img_1480.jpg?resize=423%2C500\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27933\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/img_1480.jpg?resize=423%2C500 423w, http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/img_1480.jpg?resize=254%2C300 254w, http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/img_1480.jpg?w=945 945w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 423px) 85vw, 423px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesdays: $15 for a burger is in line with what other restaurants on Main charge &#8211; so it\u2019s like you\u2019re getting a margarita for free, and optionally a bachata lesson too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got to the Memphis Farmers Market and discovered <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Master Gardeners were there for free consultations on planting and growing <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Memphis Public Libraries had a booth there<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There was a kids\u2019 table with coloring and crafts <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Memphis 901 FC got a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would have loved to have this stuff in Thursday or Friday\u2019s blog. But I didn\u2019t know! Did I get knocked off the Market\u2019s weekly e-newsletter mailing list? Or do they not do the newsletter anymore?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox13memphis.com\/weather\/chance-for-evening-storms-into-early-memorial-day-morning\/article_5e86bb3e-0aae-11ee-ab9c-77bb6f469502.html\">More storms<\/a> could be headed our way. The biggest risk will occur in the overnight hours, but they could get going as early as 3 PM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.checkiday.com\/8891e5b3263ba67140e704208a32afc5\/world-dracula-day\">World Dracula Day<\/a>. And there was a man on the Main Street Mall with a Dracula name tag on this morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/facebook.com\/events\/s\/memorial-day-mini-wiener-fest\/802495761842596\/\">Mini Wiener Fest<\/a> at Hi-Tone 5 PM-midnight Memorial Day. Free regular-sized hot dogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a Cali Burrito at Bardog yesterday. It seems to be becoming one of their new regular specials during brunch. Chorizo, eggs, fries, avocado, queso fresco. It\u2019s delicious but definitely put a couple of napkins in your lap. I\u2019ll have the time, but holidays are notoriously slow for news. As is the case with most Monday holidays, I plan on being at Bardog at 8 AM.
