You can get challah French toast, loved by new Memphis entrepreneur Elon Musk, for $7.09.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Fb9laYOsO2g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Strait\u2019s new song<\/a> dropped this morning. Normally I don\u2019t follow county music but these are the kinds of things you learn when you sit at Allie Cat\u2019s bar at Bardog.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday morning, a woman living at the Hernando Flats apartments (G.E. Patterson Ave. and Hernando Street) <a href=\"https:\/\/wreg.com\/news\/local\/mpd-employee-finds-men-hiding-in-her-jeep-parked-downtown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discovered two men hiding in her Jeep<\/a> as she got in. They accosted her with a gun and got away with her purse, wallet, and work ID. That area southeast of B.B. King and Vance reminds me of the way the southeast quadrant of Cooper-Young was 30 years ago\u2026 up-and-coming, but still a place people can walk from the hood in less than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Today is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.checkiday.com\/256002c7093257d31dd911f35e655be9\/flag-day#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flag Day<\/a> in the U.S. It\u2019s also the Trumpster\u2019s 78th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.checkiday.com\/a2bafc0602e1f92d402d3c01f833c8f1\/national-bourbon-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Bourbon Day<\/a>. He and his crew were said to be really nice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.distractify.com\/p\/why-do-people-hate-matt-rife\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Some people hate Rife<\/a>, though. I walked around Downtown Wednesday and noticed that Rife drew a heavily female &#8211; HOT female &#8211; crowd. It was the best-looking audience I have seen Downtown since JT did a show here.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/memphisveganfestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vegan festival<\/a> in Fourth Bluff Park Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/centralstationmemphis.com\/happenings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MarceauxMarceaux<\/a> DJs Eight &amp; Sand Lounge in Central Station Hotel tonight 9 to 1. From the hotel\u2019s website: &#8220;His style is an eclectic blend of electronic soundscapes and rave-friendly techno that feels right at home on a dark dance floor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it for today.
