The money would come from sponsorship agreements and from the U of M refusing its share of conference media revenue for 5 years. The proposed agreement stated that if the U of M did not bring the conference sufficient prestige and positive publicity, the Big 12 could kick Memphis out after 5 years.<\/p>\n Sounds like the University did everything but drop the soap and bend over for the Big 12.
