Due to my hospital stay I missed weekend brunch at Bardog, but I heard there were some changes. For one, the bar is now completely nonsmoking, upstairs and down, during brunch hours of 11 to 3. Makes sense – when you have the city’s best bar food, might as well let patrons enjoy it without it being ruined by cigarette smoke.<\/p>\n

As for the other changes, I’ll hold off discussing them until I experience them for myself – which I will Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Lobbyist will have a 5-course Heaven Hill Distillery cocktail tasting and dinner<\/a> Thursday, August 21.<\/p>\n

I’m being released from the hospital today so I gotta cut this post off and pack up.<\/p>\n
