I stayed out last night. From 1:30 to 7:15 AM I sat on a park bench in front of the Moxy Hotel across from Court Square. I saw neither hide nor hair of the National Guard or any other federal agency that got sent to Memphis. All I saw was the occasional MPD car cruising the Main Street pedestrian mall and that’s normal.<\/p>\n
I did hear that a lot of people were getting pulled over on Union for traffic violations. Better take it easy on the accelerator until this “deployment” wraps up.<\/p>\n
