Sources have told WREG that the SmokeSlam BBQ festival, usually held the third weekend of May in Tom Lee Park, will be suspended<\/a> for 2026 and “reimagined” for 2027. If true, that leaves Memphis in May BBQ Fest way out in Parkinglotville as the only game in town that weekend.<\/p>\n
