South of Beale finally has their new fall menu<\/a> online.\u00a0 Some good stuff on there.\u00a0 Mmmm that five spice seared duck sounds like a winner for sure… duck fried rice and a sunnyside egg on the side.\u00a0 The steak, the grilled salmon, and the vegetable lasagna are also on my to-eat list for the near future.\u00a0 I’m sure my health guru AL will probably fall out of her chair in shock when she sees that I want to try the veggie lasagna.<\/p>\n

It’s College Football Saturday.\u00a0 Let’s have a look at games of note:<\/p>\n

Auburn at Arkansas, 11 AM on ESPN.\u00a0 Go Hogs!\u00a0 Auburn is ranked 17th but a lot of people I’ve talked to think the Razorbacks can take them down.<\/p>\n

Georgia at Tennessee, 11:21 AM on ESPN360.\u00a0 Glad to see ESPN understands that the important SEC game at that hour is the Arkansas one.\u00a0 Go Dawgs!<\/p>\n

Regular blog reader Moody e-mailed me this week and ask why I never talk about Alabama in my football notes.\u00a0 This one’s for Moody:\u00a0 ROLL TIDE!\u00a0 GO BAMA!\u00a0 They play at Ole Miss today at 2:30 on CBS, and hopefully ‘Bama will knock the Rebels out of the Top 25 once and for all.<\/p>\n

6:15:\u00a0 This one’s for my friend Chad:\u00a0 GO BUFFS!\u00a0 Colorado at #2 Texas on ESPN.<\/p>\n

#1 Florida at #4 LSU, 7 PM on CBS.\u00a0 Hmmm I don’t have any plans for tonight.\u00a0 Guess I’ll be at the Saucer watching the game then.\u00a0 The thing I like about this game is, I don’t have a favorite team.\u00a0 So I can just sit back and cheer for good football, which I’m very likely to get.\u00a0 Go SEC!<\/p>\n

And if you prefer bad football, here’s a game for you… UTEP at Memphis.\u00a0 7 PM, no TV coverage.\u00a0 Go Tigers, but let’s face it, we’re probably going to lose again.\u00a0 UTEP knocked off a Top 25 team, Houston, last week.\u00a0 Basketball season hurry up and get here.<\/p>\n
