I was forwarded the Beale Street schedule for this New Year’s\/Liberty Bowl weekend by a contact at the CCC, and figured I’d pass the info along.<\/p>\n
Thursday, December 31st:<\/strong><\/p>\n 1PM: U of M pep rally in W.C. Handy Park; should last no later than 2PM<\/p>\n 2PM: Doors to the Forum open, Tigers\/Vols game begins at 3PM<\/p>\n 4PM: AutoZone Liberty Bowl bands will start arriving on both ends of Beale Street; ECU will line up on the west end, between BB King\u2019s and Blues City Caf\u00e9, ARK at the Double Deuce<\/p>\n 5PM: Bands will start to play and march to Handy Park<\/p>\n 6PM: Bands finish and will be leaving<\/p>\n 8PM: Entertainment begins in Handy Park, will last until 12:30AM<\/p>\n Midnight: Countdown with the Guitar Drop and fireworks<\/p>\n Friday, January 1st:<\/strong><\/p>\n 3PM: AutoZone Libertybowl parade<\/p>\n Saturday, January 2nd:<\/strong><\/p>\n 4:30PM: Game begins<\/p>\n I was forwarded the Beale Street schedule for this New Year’s\/Liberty Bowl weekend by a contact at the CCC, and figured I’d pass the info along.
