Although I mainly write about Downtown, I know I do have some readers out in Cordova (including one who I’ve beaten at Words with Friends 63, 764 times).\u00a0 This one’s for you:\u00a0 Good band headed your way Sunday night.\u00a0 Jeffrey and the Pacemakers will play Cordova Huey’s Sunday night at 8.\u00a0 I got to catch them at Escape Alley Sundry a few weeks ago, and they were excellent.\u00a0 They play British Invasion music – meaning, British rock from the mid-1960s.\u00a0 Lots of Beatles, as well as some Kinks, Animals, Yardbirds, that kind of stuff.\u00a0 If you’re a fan of that style of music, you need to check these guys out.\u00a0 They are complete pros and they sound great.<\/p>\n
