new ones by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yazoobrew.com\/\">Yazoo<\/a>, a brewery up I-40 a ways in Nashville.\u00a0 The Saucer has carried their Dos Perros and Pale Ale on draft for a while.\u00a0 The two new beers, however, come in bottles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yazoo Sue<\/strong> is a rauchbier, or smoked beer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1000567.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7754\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;ve already tried one rauchbier, Aecht Schlenkeria, and it tasted like a trip to BBQ Fest.\u00a0 It was like drinking a glass of smoked bacon.\u00a0 Good thing I love bacon.\u00a0 Yazoo Sue is similar.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not a beer I&#8217;d want to drink every day, but it&#8217;s tasty when in the mood for it.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s what the Saucer has to say about style=\"text-align: left;\">The brewers use a different combination of hops with every batch they make, so you&#8217;re never getting the same beer twice.\u00a0 You can look at the side of the bottle to see when your beer was brewed:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.paulryburn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1000572.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" looks like I had <a href=\"http:\/\/yazoobrew.blogspot.com\/2010\/08\/hop-project-34-now-out-in-bottles.html\">batch 34<\/a>, brewed the third week of August.\u00a0 They used Warrior hops at the beginning of the boil, then added a hop they&#8217;ve never used before, Sorachi Ace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Here&#8217;s what the Saucer has to say about Yazoo Hop Project:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The good news is that neither of these beers will put a big hurt on your wallet.\u00a0 If I remember correctly, Sue was $5 and Hop Project was $4.75.\u00a0 At this point in my push toward my next plate (about 145 beers down, 55 to go) inexpensive beers are always appreciated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you&#8217;re a fan of beer, these are both worth
