Registration: 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Contest Start/Finish Times: 9:30 am – 12:00 noon (participants may start at anytime)

Judging and Awards: 12:00 – 12:30 pm

The Chalk Art Festival will take place in Downtown Memphis to celebration architecture, public spaces and of course Downtown! This event will attract participants and onlookers alike bringing kids, adults and families downtown for a day of fun, art, music and food. The Festival will take place on September 9, 2006 at the new Memphis Farmers Market in the South End. Prizes will be awarded in each category, and there will be free activities for the kids including face painting, balloon art, caricatures and more.
