Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian got a chance to check out the new House of Hops inside FedExForum last night during the Grizzlies’ home opener. He describes it as a brewery taproom-style atmosphere, with Wiseacre on tap and other beers to come. There are free-play video games, a Pop-a-Shot, and the food they sell resembles what you might find on food trucks. Sounds like a nice place to go in the fourth quarter, a nice alternative to staying in your seat and watching the Grizzlies throw the game away.
Jared Boyd of the DM has a look at the other new features at FedExForum this year: A grab & go, theater box seating with food and drink included, a value menu, a lounge by vodka company Lit, a carvery cart, a smoked brisket and mac & cheese cart, a lactation station, a sensory room, and more.
