Houston rapper Sauce Walka was identified as the victim injured in the shooting outside the Westin Saturday afternoon. The other victim, Memphis rapper Sayso P, said to be Walka’s protege, was killed.

The bridge (card game) tournament that was in town at the Renasant Convention Center wrapped up yesterday. Notable: Bob Hamman, 86, of Dallas was co-winner of a pairs championship, his 55th North American title. He won the first of those 55 the year The Rolling Stones got together.
