Jazz singer Diana Krall will perform at the Orpheum tonight, a stop on her “Turn Up The Quiet” world tour in support of her new album. Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Tickets are $62.50-$118.
If you love the Memphis Grizzlies and are a good writer, there might be a gig for you. SbNation’s Memphis media outlet, Grizzly Bear Blues, is hiring. They are hiring for two paid positions, an Associate Editor and a Senior Staff Writer. They are also looking for one or two unpaid writers who will hold the title of Staff Writer, and who contribute as their schedule permits and as inspiration gets a hold of them.
