Bold Journey recently sat down for a chat with Tim Vimonnimit, the chef behind the Soi Number 9 food truck. The truck sells authentic Thai street food. In addition to the truck, they have an on-campus dining location at UT Health Sciences Center.

Atomic Rose, the LGBTQ-friendly lounge and restaurant on Second one block south of Beale, is putting out a casting call. They seek burlesque and go-go dancers for a recurring event. If you saw men in dresses Downtown yesterday, they were doing an “Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Bride” pub crawl. They came in Bardog for about 30 minutes. Super cool group of people.

Also at Bardog yesterday, I got to listen to Butt Slut #1 argue with her friends over whether she was going to wear a T-shirt and shorts to a “prom for adults” event. I swear, if not for the 24-year age difference, I’d wonder if we were twins separated at birth.

Staying home today… job hunting… reading my Abraham Lincoln biography… maybe taking a LinkedIn Learning course on data analysis. I will be out at Bardog early tomorrow morning (8:00) and will do my Monday blog post from there.
