One more piece of Blind Bear news: Mama Bear herself, Jeannette, will pick up a bartending shift for Thursday happy hour (3-7 PM). It will be Throwdown Thursday where you can play games for a chance to win Bear gift cards – if enough people show up. Last week’s game would have been Spelling Bee – which, as a writer, would have given me a huge advantage – but we never had enough people to start. I guess it’s because so many people are out on vacation.
