Talk to the folks at the Downtown Memphis Commission about how they can provide a storefront for the pop-up restaurant you’ve always dreamed of opening. They’ll have Table Ready info sessions at 12 S. Main, formerly Cafe Keough, at 9:00 and 2:00 Thursday, March 5.
There will be a pop-up shop at 356 N. Main this Saturday from 9 to 4. Exclusive pieces, home goods, vintage clothing. and coffee by Comeback Coffee.
There will be live art Saturday at 11 AM at Alcenia’s.

I tried something different last night at Earnestine & Hazel’s. I ordered a Soul Burger with no mustard or pickle, allowing me to savor the more subtle flavors of mayonnaise, caramelized onion, and cheese. It was a tasty experiment I don’t regret, but on my next Soul Burger, the mustard and pickle will be back.
Guy sitting downbar from me ordered his burger with “everything, extra seasoning.” I think I’ll give that a try next time.
