Pics from MIFA’s Feed the Soul fundraiser at The Warehouse

Last night I attended MIFA’s “Feed the Soul” event at The Warehouse.  I must admit, I probably wouldn’t have attended this had the organizer not offered me free tickets… but once I was there, my reaction was, “Why haven’t I been coming to this???”  Best party I have ever been to at the Warehouse, and that’s really saying a lot.  I will never miss it again, and will gladly pay for tickets in the future… also going to light a fire under the rest of the gang to go.  They missed out on an incredible event!

The MIFA Store Lounge was one of the best parts of the party. They brought in goods from the MIFA Store on Vance, and people got some incredible bargains. I believe the couch on the left was $50. The coffee table was $40. They had clothing, glassware and much more as well.

At 7:30 the main event took the stage... Raiford! He totally re-created the experience of the club, with fog machine, multiple costume changes, maracas, and Paula, Frances, and Marcus dancing on stage.

This was exactly the kind of fundraiser I enjoy… elegant and quite entertaining, yet not a bit pretentious.  Truly an event where there was something for everyone.  Thanks for a fantastic time and you can count on seeing me next year.
