Pics from MIFA’s Feed the Soul fundraiser at The Warehouse

Last night I attended MIFA’s “Feed the Soul” event at The Warehouse. I must admit, I probably wouldn’t have attended this had the organizer not offered me free tickets… but once I was there, my reaction was, “Why haven’t I been coming to this???” Best party I have ever been to at the Warehouse, and that’s really saying a lot. I will never miss it again, and will gladly pay for tickets in the future… also going to light a fire under the rest of the gang to go. They missed out on an incredible event!

P1000626 — The MIFA Store Lounge was one of the best parts of the party. They brought in goods from the MIFA Store on Vance, and people got some incredible bargains. I believe the couch on the left was $50. The coffee table was $40. They had clothing, glassware and much more as well.

P1000637 — At 7:30 the main event took the stage... Raiford! He totally re-created the experience of the club, with fog machine, multiple costume changes, maracas, and Paula, Frances, and Marcus dancing on stage.

This was exactly the kind of fundraiser I enjoy… elegant and quite entertaining, yet not a bit pretentious. Truly an event where there was something for everyone. Thanks for a fantastic time and you can count on seeing me next year.
