It’s about 8 hours from NCAA tournament selection time as I type this. All week long I’ve had a bad feeling that the Memphis Tigers are going to wind up in a 6/11 or 7/10 matchup against St. Mary’s. That’s the team I really don’t want see the Tigers face in the round of 64. The Gaels have been in Gonzaga’s shadow all season and I believe they’re better than most people give them credit for. I worry that they will be what Saint Louis was to the Tigers’ season last year.
I hope I’m wrong. I really want to see Josh get the NCAA tournament win he deserves.
