Wiseacre Brewery has announced Taste the Rarity Beer Festival, to be held on Saturday, May 10 on Broad Avenue near the brewery. I’m thrilled to see a new beer festival in Memphis – the more beer festivals the merrier, for sure. Unfortunately, that’s on a bad date for me. The 10th is load-in for BBQ Fest. As you all know, I am one of the hardest workers for my BBQ team on the day of load-in, and I have a unique set of responsibilities that day. As much as I would like to attend Taste the Rarity, I must put my team first.

The MBJ reports that renderings have been released for the combination residential-hotel plans for 100 N. Main. Also, the developers may be close to a brand for the hotel.
