Wednesday update

I was told about the neatest-sounding party yesterday, and one that is perfect for fall weather: A chili dump. Everyone brings a pot of chili, and they all dump it into one big pot and mix it up. Why have I never heard of this before?

…. And then, the day after the chili dump, you have a second chili dump in the privacy of your own bathroom.

Congratulations are in order for our friend, bluesman Eric Hughes. I was told yesterday that Eric will get his Brass Note on Beale Street Sunday, November 13 at 2:00 PM. Well-deserved and a bit overdue.
