Here are a few pics I took on Trolley Tour night of Pearl’s Oyster House, at the corner of Main and Pontotoc (one block south of Linden), where the tattoo parlor used to be. They told me they will open this coming Wednesday. I only took pics of the upstairs - downstairs wasn’t ready yet.
It was hard to get a first impression of the place when it wasn’t even officially open, but here’s my try at it: This looks like a place where you can go to have a fine meal, but it’s also a place where you can hang out for hours with friends and have a good time. I’ve never been to New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, but for some reason it feels like a place that would fit in there.
Attn gang: Anyone up for a trip to Pearl’s Wednesday night?
