David Ramsey, the man who provided the organ music at Memphis Redbirds games, died yesterday. He was 68. He was also a professor at Rhodes College, and I met him and got to know him personally when I worked in the Music Library there for my work-study assignment. He was always a great guy to talk to, and his teaching and his music touched many lives. He will be missed. More info about Prof. Ramsey can be found here.
