I just received word via Facebook that Republic Nightclub and Restaurant, the mega-club moving into the old EP Delta Kitchen space, will have its grand opening next Saturday night, August 29. “Celebrities! Fashion shows! Performances! Paparazzi! Glamour! Fame! Every week,” reads the Facebook event listing.
A friend of mine who lives at 420 S. Front noticed that there is a sign in front of a building across the street, The Nettleton, saying that the building’s 30 condos will be auctioned off on September 12. 15 of them will have no reserve.
