If you’re free this afternoon, why not head over to the James Lee House project launch at 690 Adams from 4-6? The historic mansion is being renovated into a 5-suite luxury bed and breakfast. There will be remarks by Rep. Steve Cohen, Mayor A.C. Wharton, Councilman Lee Harris, Paul Morris who runs DMC, and several others including the owners. At 4:55 James Lee, Sr. will ring the James Lee Steamer Bell. There will be music, food, and refreshments.

The Memphis Flyer is accepting nominations for Best Bartender, Best Server, Best Singer and Best Local Band for their 2013 Best of Memphis poll. You can make nominations here through July 7, and voting will begin July 10.
