Penny Hardway hauled in a big catch for the class of ’19 this morning.

Don’t forget that RiverArtsFest stays open until 9 tonight, and admission is free after 5. The lighting of the I-40 bridge will happen around 6:30.

Out at Tiger Lane, it’s BurgerFest today. The successor to Best Memphis Burger Fest and under new ownership, there won’t be a cooking competition this year. However, there will be six different burgers for you to sample, the creations of Chef Tam of Chef Tam’s Underground Cafe.

The Shelby County Criminal Justice Center, widely known for its address 201 Poplar or just “201,” has a new name. It has been named after former county commissioner Walter L. Bailey, Jr.
