Friday update

The NBA trade deadline passed at 2 PM yesterday, and the Grizzlies did not make a move, one of only a handful of teams to do so. Memphis went on to beat Detroit last night, 132-107. The win pulls the Grizzlies within 2.5 games of Golden State for second place in the West.

I haven’t checked FiveThirtyEight’s statistical NBA model since the first of the season. It’s updated after every game. Let’s see what it says… Memphis is >99% to make the NBA playoffs. They’re at 12% to make the NBA Finals and 4% to win the championship.

BarWare will offer a four-course Valentine’s Day dinner for $69 this weekend, with seatings at 7 PM tonight and 6 and 8 PM Saturday. Check the restaurant’s Facebook page to view the menu.
