If you haven’t yet subscribed to The Daily Memphian and you’re a foodie, Chris Herrington and Jennifer Biggs’ food tour of Summer Avenue series, which kicked off today, is worth the subscription price by itself. Don’t forget, tonight is the joint Downtown Neighborhood Association/South Main Association meeting at Beale Street Landing. Drinks and appetizers will be provided to association members. Popcorn would be appropriate.

You can ride the trolley for 25 cents today due to poor air quality. MATA bus rides and MATAplus rides are 25 cents as well.

Today is National Smoothie Day. City Market makes good ones.
