The Memphis Tigers will hold a 901 Day celebration next Thursday, September 1, at Grind City Brewing. The U of M athletics office is billing it as “Tigers on Tour.”

Cat’s Ballroom will host a free cha cha class at Fourth Bluff Park on Saturday, September 24 from 6 to 7 PM. You don’t need a partner or dance experience.

DJP, originally from Springfield, Missouri, comes to Eight & Sand for a guest DJ session Friday night. He is the 2011 winner of BET/Smirnoff’s Master of the Mix reality show. He’s toured with Jazzy Jeff, 311, Garbage, and Lit.
