Friday update

The Grizzlies made two second-round picks in last night’s NBA draft:

  • 45: GG Jackson, power forward/center, South Carolina, 6’9″, 215
  • 56: Tarik Biberovic, small forward, Europe, 6’7″, 218

Biberovic will probably be stashed, meaning he’ll continue to play overseas while the Grizzlies will control his rights should he come to the NBA.

Chef Tam’s peach cobbler nachos have been voted the most over-the-top treat in Tennessee by Food Network Magazine. Get them at her restaurant at 668 Union in The Edge.

A Sunset R&B Festival is coming to Riverside Drive Monday, July 3 from 7 to 11 PM. Tickets are $45 + a convenience fee.
