Future and Friends, scheduled for next Thursday at FedExForum, has been canceled. If you have tickets, refunds will be issued through the appropriate channels. It’s not known why Future can’t make it, but Memphis is not the only canceled show on the tour.

Memphis Farmers Market vendor Dodson Farms, maker of fine jams and jellies, announced on social media this week that they aren’t sure when, or if, they will return to the market. Riverside Drive’s closure has been extended to Labor Day. The scenic road was scheduled to reopen on the first of this month, but a Tom Lee Park contractor needed more time.

MemphisWeather.net tweeted that widespread storms are possible in the Memphis metro from 2 to 8 PM today. Some of those storms could be severe, with wind and hail being the main threats.
